In the wake of Congress’s defeat in three state polls, DMK’s MP DNV Senthilkumar made a disparaging reference to north India during a debate in Lok Sabha on a bill related to J&K. BJP leaders responded aggressively and questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s stance on the remarks. Tamil Nadu BJP chief condemned the remarks and criticized DMK’s arrogance.
