Nissan and Datsun vehicles to cost 2% more from April

Nissan India Tuesday said it will increase prices across its range of Nissan and Datsun vehicles in India by up to 2% to offset the impact of rising input costs.The revised prices will be effective from April 1, 2018. Jerome Saigot, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd said, “Due to rising input costs, we will be increasing the price of our Nissan and Datsun cars with effect from 1st April, 2018. We are confident that our cars will continue to offer excellent value and choice to our customers.”Nissan currently offers the Micra, Sunny and the Terrano and Datsun offers the Datsun GO, GO+ and redi-GO to Indian customers.Most manufacturers from Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India to Tata Motors had raised prices at the start of the calendar year citing rising commodity costs.
