Ujaas, Artson, KEC rise on winning new orders

Ujaas Energy, Artson Engineering and KEC International are trading higher today, with announcements about new orders won by these companies aiding their surge.

Ujaas Energy is trading nearly 7% up, riding on new orders won by the company. The company said that it has received work orders under capacity allocation from RRECL for design, supply, installation and commissioning of 850Kwp grid connected solar power plant in various schools and colleges in Rajasthan.

Ujaas has also bagged a work order from MPUVN for erection, installation, completion and commissioning of grid connected rooftop SPV power plants of aggregating capacity of 425 kwp in Madhya Pradesh.

Shares of Artson Engineering rose to Rs 52 before paring gains and turning flat. The stock moved higher after the company said it won an order from Tata Projects for piping and mechanical works in Maharashtra.

KEC International hit a fresh 52-week high today, rising to Rs 220.85, after the company announced that it has bagged new orders worth Rs 1781 crore.

The company’s transmission & distribution business secured orders worth Rs 1702 crore, while its cables business bagged orders to the tune of Rs 79 crore.
