Amazon said on Monday it is laying off 9,000 more employees in the next few weeks, mostly in AWS, advertising and Twitch.The global e-commerce giant has already laid off nearly 18,000 employees as mass firings at top tech companies continue worldwide.In the memo, CEO Andy Jassy said the second phase of the company’s annual planning process completed this month and led to the additional job cuts. He said Amazon will still hire in some strategic areas.
