Hung assembly in Karnataka, all eyes on governor

According to the usual practice, the governor calls the leader of the single largest party to form the government, and in the event of a hung Assembly, asks him to prove majority. Since the Congress and JD(S) did not have a pre-poll alliance, the governor might not invite the leader of the JD(S) legislature group to form the government.
