The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted a fresh spell of heatwave conditions over parts of northwest and central India for three days, beginning Sunday. Maximum temperature in many parts of the region is expected to be over 42-44 degree celsius. On Saturday, the highest maximum temperature of 45 degree celsius was recorded at Barmer in west Rajasthan.
