Bangladesh’s preparations for the Asia Cup were disrupted by the absence of batsman Liton Das due to viral fever. The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced that Liton could not travel and named Anamul Haque as his replacement. Haque was scheduled to join the team on Wednesday before their opening match against Sri Lanka in Kandy on Thursday.
